Protecting and Preserving Your Assets for future Generations.(Any Estate that has ownership of a property should take advice on preserving the value for your beneficiaries, Children, Grandchildren, “it’s got to be worth it”
Lasting Powers Of Attorney
If you lose the capacity to make decisions about your finances or property, perhaps because of illness or an accident, then no person is legally allowed to look after your affairs. This can mean that your bank accounts are frozen, bills cannot be paid and decisions about your wellbeing will not be made in accordance with your wishes. A Lasting Power of Attorney solves these problems as it allows you to choose and to appoint a trusted person or persons to act on your behalf should you become unable to manage your own affairs or lack the mental capacity to make decisions.
Lifetime Trusts
Lifetime Trusts are arranged in your lifetime and assist in helping to secure, preserve and protect your assets for your future generations. A Trust will prevent your children and grandchildren being disinherited either through the remarriage of your surviving spouse or the premature death or divorce of a beneficiary. The Trust will protect their inheritance from potential creditors and will minimise and simplify probate procedures and fees saving both time and money for your beneficiaries.
Pilot Trusts
Pilot Trusts are used to reduce or eliminate inheritance tax and are an important element of an Estate Plan for tax planning purposes. They are especially helpful should you have a large death in service benefit from your employment.
Disabled Discretionary Trusts
Disabled discretionary trusts should be considered for those wishing to leave assets to a person with a disability or learning difficulties. This Trust arrangement can make sure that the family member or friend with a disability will get the financial support and protection they need after your death without any existing benefits being lost.
